Privacy Policy

Chooszy ("we", "us", "the app") is a three-step intentional dating audit. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we keep, how we use it, and your rights. Pre-launch, we hold only the email address you provide when you sign up for early access.

The headline

We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for marketing or advertising. We don't run third-party trackers on this site. We don't use your audit content to train any AI model. You can ask us to delete your account and audit history at any time and we will action it within 30 days.

What we keep

When you create an account and run audits, we keep:

• Your account record and email while your account exists.
• Your audit history: the questions you answer, the verdicts you receive, and the Pattern Dossier we build. We keep these so you can re-read them and so the next audit can build on the last.
• Profiles you submit for a Compatibility Audit: stored as part of the audit's record so you can see what you ran and what came back.

If you sign up for early access or The Edit newsletter without creating an account, we keep your email address with our newsletter provider (Resend) so we can deliver The Edit and a launch note when the app goes live.

If you upgrade to the Retainer, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number, expiry, or CVC.

How we use your data

• To run the Disparity Audit, the Compatibility Audit, and the Pattern Dossier against the answers you gave us.
• To bill and operate your Retainer subscription (only if you take one).
• To send you The Edit newsletter (only if you sign up).

How audits are processed

Each audit is generated by an AI model. The text you submit (your audit answers, the profiles you paste in) is sent to the model provider for processing under their API terms. We use providers whose terms prohibit using submitted content to train their models. Providers may retain API requests briefly for abuse and security monitoring, then delete them under their published retention windows.

Third-party dating profiles

Chooszy analyses profiles that you have independently accessed on third-party platforms such as Hinge, Bumble, and Tinder. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Chooszy complies with the terms of service of those platforms. Chooszy does not scrape, crawl, or automatically access any third-party platform. All profile content is manually provided by you via paste, screenshot, or text input. We do not endorse or facilitate any unauthorised access to personal data.

Where your data lives

Account data and audit history are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Email addresses for The Edit are stored with Resend. Payment records are stored with Stripe. We never store your card details ourselves.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising. The only external services your data touches are: the AI provider that runs the audits, our payments provider Stripe (only if you take a Retainer), and our email provider Resend (only if you sign up for early access or The Edit).

Sharing features

Chooszy lets you copy your verdict or Pattern Dossier to share with whoever you want. Any sharing you do is entirely your choice. We have no visibility into what you share or with whom.

Analytics and tracking

Chooszy does not use behavioural tracking or advertising SDKs. We do not sell usage data.

Children's privacy

Chooszy is not intended for anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

You can:

• Email us at hello@chooszy.com to request a copy of your data, deletion of your account and audit history, or removal of your email from our newsletter list. We will action requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
• Cancel your Retainer subscription at any time. Cancelling stops further billing; you keep access for the rest of your paid period.
• Unsubscribe from The Edit at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
